This coffee comes from: Raul Rodriguez is a third-generation coffee producer, and the farm, Finca Santa Lucia, was passed down from his father, Don Ermenegildo Rodriguez, a pioneer in specialty coffee who introduced varietals like Yellow Bourbon, Typica, and Caturra.
Finca Santa Lucia is a remote coffee farm located in Tres Pinos, Honduras, over two and a half hours from the city of Comayagua. Nestled in the Montaña de La Choca national reserve, the farm benefits from a unique climate and rich soil that produce high-quality coffee. The clouded forest environment and defined wet and dry seasons allow for optimal cherry growth and sun-drying of beans, preserving their flavor and integrity. Raul continues his family’s legacy by cultivating new varietals such as Ovata and Pacamara on his certified organic Santa Lucia Reserve. The farm is also a natural sanctuary for birds, including toucans. Finca Santa Lucia employs around 75 seasonal pickers and 15 permanent workers, providing the highest wages in the region. Committed to community development, Raul plans to donate a portion of his profits this year to help renovate the local school, adding much-needed facilities like a kitchen and electricity.

Honduras, along with Sweater Weather and Brazil, are my favorite coffees from Yield coffee. Seeing that the Holidays will be coming up soon, I wanted to make sure that I had enough coffee on hand.
Was gifted a Mueller pour over coffee and am enjoying this blend as a treat in the afternoons!
Yield Honduras coffee is outstanding. I have tried coffee from over 20 roasters and nothing compares to this. The store where I usually purchase this has been out for a couple of weeks. Went searching online and was quite happy to discover I can buy direct. Thank you to the entire team that works with the various coffee growers to provide such a great cup of coffee. I’ll keep buying!
