Our premium organic ceremonial grade matcha is made with leaves from the first spring harvest each year, and is prized for its creamy texture, umami and earthy characteristics. Matcha may be prepared in the traditional manner, with a tea bowl and bamboo whisk.
TRADITIONAL MATCHA RECIPE: 1. Measure 2g of matcha into a small sifter 2. Move the sifter back and forth and use a spoon to push all the matcha through the sifter into a small bowl 3. Add 40g of 170°F water 4. For the best incorporation, whisk by using "W" or "M" motions in the cup If you desire a matcha shot for a latte, transfer the matcha into another container and add milk
If you prefer a thinner drink, add up to an additional 60g of 170°F water depending on the desired strength 5. Enjoy Recommended equipment: Kettle, Bowl, Sifter, Whisk, Scoop, Scale
