We’re really excited to be working alongside these brothers and the work they are doing in Honduras. This coffee is an outstanding example of the hard work going on behind the scenes in specialty coffee.
Farmer: Joel and Delmer Banegas Origin: Honduras Region: Los Planes, Comayagua Farm: Finca El Conejo Altitude: 1550 Meters Processing: Washed Varietal: Red Catuai
This coffee comes from: fifth generation coffee farmers, Joel and Delmer, are two young entrepreneurs who were given a plot of land by Joel's father (Joel Banegas Sr, Finca Mira Flores) to start growing coffee. Delmer took full responsibility for maintaining the land and workers while Joel decided to go to college to study agricultural engineering and specialize in coffee. They have joined forces to make Finca El Conejo one of the few experimental coffee farms in the Comayagua region.
Honduras, along with Sweater Weather and Brazil, are my favorite coffees from Yield coffee. Seeing that the Holidays will be coming up soon, I wanted to make sure that I had enough coffee on hand.

Best coffee ever
Yield Honduras coffee is outstanding. I have tried coffee from over 20 roasters and nothing compares to this. The store where I usually purchase this has been out for a couple of weeks. Went searching online and was quite happy to discover I can buy direct. Thank you to the entire team that works with the various coffee growers to provide such a great cup of coffee. I’ll keep buying!
