I have tried several varieties of Ethiopian coffee from other roasters. The Ethiopia - Two Brothers by Yield is by far the best one! I prepare it using the pour over method to get the richest flavor. The berry notes are amazing!!
I picked up a bag of this Ethiopian coffee one morning while I was grabbing a latte to go. I chose to open it up the next week and the smell was phenomenal. I brewed a Chemex full and gave it a swirl and became even more excited, poured a cup and took a sip and that was when the magic happened. I loved the amazing pronounced notes that this coffee brings. The body isn't heavy but I tell you the flavor is front and center! This is my favorite Ethiopian single origin that I have ever had. I keep a bag on hand.
If you’re wanting to try a coffee that doesn’t just taste like “coffee” this is a great choice. They really nailed the tasting notes for this one as well. Berry sweetness and a great lavender aroma go together perfectly and make this a fun coffee to keep coming back to.
