Coffee Cupping Experience

Come join our production team at the roastery once a month for a specialty coffee cupping experience where you’ll be able to taste 8-10 coffees side by side in a curious, exciting, coffee nerd kind of way. You’ll spend time with our head roaster, Derek, to sniff, slurp and discuss all of Yield’s current coffee offerings.
Cupping is the formal evaluation of coffee used by farmers, importers, and coffee roasters to make decisions across the spectrum of the coffee supply chain.
In this 2-hour experience, you’ll learn the steps involved from coffee farming, to importing, to roasting, and finally to cupping. We’ll go over the SCA Coffee Taster’s Flavor Wheel, the correct procedure for cupping coffee, and how to begin developing your coffee tasting palate.
This class is for first timers and coffee industry folk alike.

Tickets are $35 per person and include a 12oz retail bag of any of our seasonal offerings to take home after the event.
